I can't believe it's been that long.
As I walked Parker this morning in the soupie, Maryland air, I thought how lucky we were to get married outside in MD on such a beautiful day.
Did I buy a card? No
Are we doing something special? No (unless Jason has something up his sleeve, but since he just asked me the date, I'll go with NO)
Does Evie consume my every thought and energy? Yes
While we might not do anything special to celebrate today, we do have a babysitter lined up for a day this week to go out to dinner.
As much as I want a family, I'm thankful we enjoyed 5 plus years of couplehood. Life is definitely not the same this anniversary. I'm excited to see where the next year takes us! Happy Anniversary Boo!

Our celebrations have been muted since we had kiddos, but our sixth was definitely the worst. Kate was delivered by c-section the day before our anniversary, so I was in a hospital bed with a huge gash across my abdomen, I still couldn't walk because my legs were still numb from the pain medication, and Kate had her days and nights mixed up. Talk about LAME...
Some day anniversaries will be romantic again, right??? :)
