You can tell he is growing from his monthly giraffe shots. I don't have any other stats since his 2 month appointment isn't for another few days.... and we donated our scale.

After some early fears that we had another colicky baby, we think we are in the clear. Braylen has his moments of unhappiness due to gas and exhaustion, but nothing a good swaddle job and a boob can't fix.
We thought we were doing the right thing with the bottle this time, starting it earlier than 1 month. He was taking it fine, but decided recently that he doesn't want anything unnatural near his mouth. Here we go again. I want to scream! Why do we have zero luck with bottles? I just want a break! BUT I am not going back to work and have nothing major planned to be away from him, so if he doesn't ever take one, well, too bad for me. The same goes for the pacifier- no go.
On the brighter side, Braylen has found his hands. Maybe the thumb will eventually soothe him. Until then he grunts and drools over his hands. Since his hands keep him up, we still swaddle him for sleep.
Braylen loves his bath. He upgraded from the Puj to the blue tub. Every night we all hang out in the bathroom while Evie takes her bath. He likes to look around and listen to the water.
Evie's voice and antics are interesting to Braylen. He looks at her a lot and smiles. She loves her brother too which she shows by smothering him. One minute she is sitting nicely next to him, the next she is slapping his head. Sigh.

| Yep, that's how I look almost every day- hair a mess, sweats, glasses- an all around exhausted, hot mess. |

Love the pictures and so glad that Evie and Braylen are enjoying each other. Love Pops and Paula
He is a cutie! Lots of babies reject the bottle for awhile after doing it no problem and then do fine again. Noelle was like that for a bit around 10 weeks and I freaked out! Have Jason try it a few times when you aren't home. But like you said, if he doesn't take it, no huge deal!
Love those monthly giraffe pics! So fun to see B grow right before my eyes!
Neither of the girls ever took a pacifier even though I REALLY wanted them to. Ella never did a bottle, but Kate randomly started taking a bottle when she was five months old. There's hope for Braylen...and YOU! :)
