We spent most of the week hanging around the house. It was Lisa's first week of summer vacation, so that meant we saw each other every. single. day. It was pure Mommy bliss to have her home! And of course Evie and Emily had fun playing together.

Braylen is exploring everything.
After a conversation with Jessie and Rachel, I realized that I too have hardly any pictures with the kids. I always bring out the camera to take cute pictures of Daddy with them. So I started the old hold-out-the-camera shots.
And then I realized how aged my face looks! Yikes! I kept this one blurry for a reason.
The hair pulling is out. of. control. I wear it up every day, but he still grabs it underneath and yanks.

Recently another friend promised herself to take a picture with her kids at least once a week because she has so few pictures of herself as a child with her mom. Her mother was reluctant to have her photo taken if her hair didn't look right, her makeup wasn't perfect, or her clothes weren't nice. Now, as a 50-something grandma, she says she wishes with all her heart she had taken more photos of herself with her kids when she was 30 and gorgeous.
I'll get in front of the camera more if you get in front of the camera more too. Strength in numbers, baby. :)
