When I think of summer foods, I think of corn on the cob, watermelon, and picking Maryland crabs. Our crop share has provided 6 ears of corn just about every week in July and August. We've also gotten watermelon the past two weeks. Evie LOVES watermelon, which is a good thing when you get a huge watermelon each week! After seeing us eat corn on the cob for weeks, Evie
grunted asked for a try.

| Welcome to the wonderful world of corn on the cob eating, Evie! |
Hearing her crunch the corn off the cob is so cute. I don't know why we waited so long to let her try it!
I am STILL waiting for my first dozen of crabs. Just need a babysitter so I can enjoy them. (I hear some one's grandfather is retiring this week.... we'd love a visit!)

Bryan let Kel eat the corn off the cob one night earlier this summer after I had been cutting it off the previous few months - he loved it and they are so cute as they munch away. Oh and the mom's group has a mom crab event in September.
