In the hustle and bustle of getting our house on the market, we almost let Braylen's 3rd birthday slip by without much fuss. Auntie L came to the rescue! My sister is an amazing party planner; she always know how to make the guest of honor feel extra special. She saved Braylen's birthday for us even though she has a million other things going on. Love her!
Daddio shockingly opted out of making a specially decorated cake this year; there was just no time. And once Braylen indicated he wanted a Diego party, he was fine giving it up for this birthday.
Diego, eh? It's the TV show of choice for Braylen right now, so even though I told everyone to get him Paw Patrol, Cars, and Planes themed toys, we'll go with what is hot. I picked up a Diego balloon for a mere $200 (just kidding, but seriously, balloons are wicked expensive!) and Laura worked her magic to create a Diego themed party. It was a perfect party for my little explorer.
A yummy kid-friendly lunch of Chick-fil-A nuggets, apples, cucumbers, and mac n cheese.

Gifts then birthday treat. We opted for Rice Krispie treats covered with melted chocolate chips and peanut butter. I will take those over cake any day!
