Growing up with a name like Marisa Stefany, I had to correct many teachers about the pronunciation of my name. I think there is some confusion over the pronunciation of Evie, so even though phonics was probably my lowest grade in elementary school, I will try to give you some tips on how to say her name properly.
Her name is said like Evelyn. I believe that means short "e".
Her name is NOT pronounced as "Eve-e". I think that's the long "e" :)
I'm so sorry Evie for a lifetime of people saying your name wrong! And for people asking if your given name is really Evelyn.

Sweet Evie is in for loads of mispronunciations, but it's a BEAUTIFUL name and she will love that it belongs to her.
