I-Day?!

Nugget is still in my belly and not giving me any full proof signs of departure. I had mild contractions all afternoon and evening, but nothing that turned into labor. Darn.

I'm spending today doing last minute preparations for our hospital stay. I think I have Parker care done. Unfortunately Parks isn't feeling his best, so I'm wondering if I should haul him to the vet before the dog sitters come for the week. Perfect timing as always.

We call L & D at 5 pm to see if there is room for us at the inn. If so, we'll snarf down my last meal for who knows how long and head to the hospital! At that point they will evaluate me and start me on the "ripening agent". I'll spend the night and we'll go from there. Jason is looking forward to a night of constant interruptions and a comfortable couch :) If there isn't a room for us, hence the question mark in the title of this post, well, then I start crying, again. We will be "bumped" until later in the week. I'll have a t-shirt made for Jason saying "yes, I'm still here. And here's your sign"

We'll post if we are on our way to the hospital. If we don't post anything, assume we got bumped and that means it is best NOT to call us. No news means no good news in this case.

Today is my mom's guess of Nugget's birth date. Moms know best, right?!? Still holding onto one ounce of hope.
