Stats:
Weight: 8 lbs, 5 oz.
Head Circumference: 37 1/4 cm
Length: 21 1/4 inches
No one emphasized the percentiles, but it sounded like she's around 25%. The important thing is she is gaining weight and growing so I could really care less her percentile. Please, her mother is 5 foot 2 inches on a good day. Do I expect to have a tall child? No.
Dr. Kopper suggested we start Evie on a probiotic and a vitamin. That's what I like, concrete suggestions instead of "it will get better, just hang in there". He didn't have any major concerns about Evie. He seemed more concerned that her parents looked frazzled and drained.
Evie is smiling a little more between cries and has much better control of her head. Jason started giving her 1 bottle a day promptly at the 4 week mark. She is taking it like a champ! She has some baby acne. Jason and I figured Evie would inherit our bad skin. Just wait for the sweating to start :)
We were SO grateful to have Grandmom here for the weekend. Grandmom ran errands for us, provided dinner both nights, and more importantly calmed Evie for us in seconds. We look forward to her next visit.

I love the new pictures! Glad to hear things are getting better...call me anytime you want to chat :)
I hope the probiotic/vitamins help Miss Evie. I hated the baby acne too, but it passes quickly (even Ella's, which was HORRIBLE). And, for the record, I don't think you have bad skin.
The pictures are wonderful. Someday you're going to have to post a pic of her red-faced and wailing. Even though it stressed me out like no other when my babies cried, I crack up now every time I look at a pic of them fussing. I mean really...what in the heck do babies have to fuss about?! We wait on them hand and foot! They can sleep all day and eat any time! We actually WANT them to gain weight!
Ungrateful little beasts. :)
