I haven't identified which cry means what and I still feel pretty clueless as to what I am doing. Maybe that's why the Duggar's have so many kids- by baby #11 you finally know what you are doing. I used to think teaching was the hardest job out there, but at least in teaching I feel confident in explaining a math concept pretty darn well. I can prove why the answer is 5. With Evie, it's all trial and error. That's hard for this math major to stomach. I'm learning and trying to be more patient with myself that I will figure this out.
For now, here's what I do know about Evie.
* She weighs 8 lbs, 2 oz. The newborn diapers are getting a tad snug.
* Her most pleasant time is after her morning feeding (approx 8-9 am)
* She likes to dance to Gin and Juice. (I listen to 90's on 9 in the morning. This song seems to come on more often than not)
* She would rather be snug in her swaddle than naked.
* She can produce a mega "poop sausage" every week.

I am not sure that the Duggar's know what they are doing some much as they realized that #1 kid could take care of #11 kid and they could get some sleep! :-0
LOL both dad and I over the poop sausage! Hang in there, kiddo - it will get better and you'll have a darling, cooing little angel.
