Our Gold Medalist

In the spirit of the 2012 Summer Olympics, we awarded Evie with a gold medal.

Evie is going through a phase, or maybe it won't end, she is a female after all, of putting on my necklaces or wrapping anything that is long around her neck (pantyhose from Parker's bin as well... sigh).  She would wear the medal all day if I let her.

The ribbon makes it look like she is representing Germany.  It's actually Daddy's medal from middle school that he still had hanging in his bedroom back home.  Evie could have a plethora of medals if we took them all.  Daddy was quite the athlete and bowler back in the day :) 

She certainly deserves the gold medal for
best bed head in the morning!
