I can't stop myself! I cannot call the Please Touch
Me Museum it's official name! My family has called it the Please Touch Me Museum for decades. Maybe my Nana is the originator of its modified name. I'm sure my historian sister will be able to give us a complete report :)
Anyhoo, part of our visit to see Kristen and Brendan was to take the kiddos to the Please Touch
Me Museum. I'm pretty sure I was there as a kid myself since both of my grandparents lived in Philly suburbs. I didn't remember it and thought it would be something like the Franklin Institute. Kristen and I heard mixed reviews on the PTM for 1 year olds. We went in with somewhat low expectations.
It. Was. Awesome.
The PTM is a huge museum (I wouldn't even call it a museum) with play areas. It was like Storyville on steroids. We didn't even scratch the surface in our 2 hours there. Some of the areas were too big for Evie and Brendan, but there were at least three areas we found designated for 3 and under. As with all play areas, not all parents follow this rule.

| Doing the loop |
 |
| Putting magnetic apples on the tree |
 |
| Poor Evie isn't heavy enough to make the key light up |
 |
| Just a day out on the boat with her boyfriend |
 |
| Alice in Wonderland |
 |
| The big noses were the biggest draw to the cards |
 |
She loved playing with this naked baby boy. Who wants to get her
a doll baby?? |
 |
| She wouldn't keep on the life jacket in the canoe. Darn |
 |
| Playing musical instruments |
Evie really wanted to play at the water area, but unfortunately she was too short to reach the smallest stations. Welcome to the world of being vertically challenged my love. It broke my heart slightly to see her face when she couldn't reach.

| Two exhausted toddlers after 1 hour of exploring and playing |
I wanted Evie to play longer, but she was done after lunch. It was such a fun museum. I enjoyed watching her face light up as she explored new things. We will be back with Daddy or Grandparent back up!
Warning: If you decide to go, it is EXPENSIVE! Evie was not free either. I love Storyville even more now. F-R-E-E :)

The funny thing is that I didn't know it wasn't called the Please Touch ME Museum until someone made fun of me for calling it that in college in Philly. I stand corrected! I agree that it was Nana who called it that. Or maybe we did and she just copied us. Regardless, I still add the ME to it :)
Looks like a blast! Better get your money's worth!
That place looks awesome! Evie appears to have LOVED it. But I would probably avoid it due to the price tag. You know me...I'm a cheap skate.
I love that your sister went to college calling it the Please Touch Me Museum. I had many similar experiences when I left the metropolis of Burns Flat for the big city. :)
