Facebook vs Blog

Ok people, I said I wouldn't do it anymore, but I'm annoyed.

Why does no one comment on my blog??

I post a picture of Evie from Halloween on my FB page and I have 20+ likes and 10 comments.

What would make you comment more on my blog?  Do you need me to take off the messy words you need to type in?  Is something wrong with your ability to leave comments?  I don't know if things aren't working until someone tells me.  You can rely on other forms of communication to tell me, like that old school thing called email or text messaging.

Keep in mind that this blog means much more to me than Facebook.  Someday Evie and H2 will look over my blog and see all of your lack of comments.  I want them to see how much everyone loved her costume.  You can also like pictures in my albums!

Please stalk AND COMMENT!

In other frustrations- I don't know what is up with the poll.  I took it off because it kept resetting.

The blog is a great way to keep track and makes us smile with all the pictures. We read them all but sometimes days pass before we get a chance to read. Love the updates.

I feel your pain a little. I can tell 25-50 people are reading each of my posts but they hardly ever comment and when they do it is usually on facebook. I decided I am ok with it though. The blog is really my gift to my kids more than anything else. I think they will love reading through it when they are older and seeing the stuff we did and what they were like at different ages. It's like a super detailed baby book or family journal. And I go through it about once every few months and it brings a smile to my face to relive all the memories. If you do want more comments I would see if you can take the word verification off. I find it really hard to comment when I read the posts from my phone and I think many people do that these days. Also, even though I follow your blog, it doesn't show up in my blog reader when you have new posts so others may also have a hard time knowing it has been updated. Good luck figuring things out!

My comment today is quoting Hannah from last week: "Whoa, Auntie M! Your belly is getting so big it's going to stretch out your shirt!"

Poll is gone, but I'm still voting boy this time. I was right about girl with Evie. Can I make it two in a row??

We love the posts!

Some day Evie is going to look at your blog and wonder who in the heck this Aubrey chick is. Why on earth does she comment on EVERY POST?

The answer is twofold, sweet E. First of all, I write about my little girls and I love comments too. This is my way of paying it forward! But the most important reason is that your mom is my friend. We were math teachers together. Your mom and I haven't seen each other in four years because I live in Europe, but I feel that our friendship continues to thrive because your awesome mom does a fantastic job with this blog.

Hugs from the Cotswolds!

If there was a "like" button I would hit it for you, Aubrey. Thanks for being my biggest blog supporter!

Pookie: I always read the blog with such anticipation. Love the occasional humor and of course, those precious pics of Miss Evie. She has such expressions! See you soon.

The word verification did make it hard! I would go through a couple before I could get one that would work. Evie's costume and absolutely fantastic!!! As you know I love DUCKS so I was super excited. I think its a girl if it makes you feel better but alas only time will tell...
