Penny brought a Christmas book, a gift for each kid, and Dunkin' Donuts! She was so thoughtful to get Daddio his extra humongous sized coffee :)
Wow!
Penny brought them each a pair of flannel holiday themed sheets. (promptly washed and placed on beds)
Penny moved every night to a different spot. Mostly she sat on or in objects on our first floor. Evie was very concerned about her touching her prized possessions in her room. We made sure Evie told Penny not to go into the kids' rooms. Penny had a few creative spots...
She wanted to make sure she made the "thankful leaves"
Penny's version of a bubble bath
The kids enjoyed finding her every morning. Evie was lead detective, finding her the most. Penny did not have any magical power over the kids, no excellent behavior resulted from her presence. She did, however, bring a few gifts throughout the month when the kids were kinder than normal to each other. She brought Elf on the Shelf band aids, Christmas books, and window decorations.
On Christmas Eve, Penny prepped for her final journey to the North Pole. She used Braylen's new Legos to assist her back.
Gassing up for her flight
While we went to church, Penny left a note and gift. Last year it was pajamas. This year she took it up a notch, pajamas AND Christmas DVDs.
Evie got a Veggie Tales DVD
Braylen got a Bob Builder DVD
Not only did she get "Penny Pjs", her doll, Kiki, received a matching pair too!
Good-bye, Penny, see you next December! Tell Santa to bring us some good gifts!

How do you do it?? I don't have nearly enough energy to be creative like that. Our elf would park her lazy butt on the sofa for the whole month like I wish I could do! Hehe ;-)
