Giving her milk to hold while she does her laps is a perfect way for me to get some quality milk drinking in.
| She went back and forth between her sippy and straw cup for a solid 5 minutes. |
Evie also likes to put the objects in her hands down and examine them. She puts them down, raises an eyebrow, then selects one to pick up. I wonder what is going on in her smart little brain
Evie has been down to her bedtime bottle for about a week. We had a few minor setbacks on our trip to Boston, but that was expected. Last night we ran out of bottle liners, so it was cold turkey, good bye bottles for good (hopefully...). Since I usually give her the bottle at bed, Jason put her to bed without me. It worked like a gem. Let's hope there will be no more bottle washing until December!
In other drinking related news, the carton of formula FINALLY ran out yesterday as well. It's not that Evie wouldn't drink whole milk without it, it was that I wasn't about to waste any penny of that $23 carton of formula.
Welcome to toddlerhood, Ev! No bottles, no formula, just straws and sippies from here out. It went much better than I expected :)
