The End??

Your prayers are being answered- Evie pulled her tube out on Saturday evening and hasn't needed it back in yet! Yep, Ev is eating from her bottle!! We found a bottle/nipple combo that is working well for her. She is taking almost 4 ounces every feed.

We will go to the GI doctor/nutritionist tomorrow. I'm anxious to hear what they have to say.

Maybe Evie's "tube" days are coming to an end. I think all of us would be thrilled to have this feeding ordeal behind us. And to see some pictures of her face without tape and a yellow tube from her nostril.

She's a happy, healthy, beautiful baby girl regardless of what medical equipment she might temporarily need, and that's because she's got loving parents who are willing to do whatever is necessary for her- hang in there Maris & Jason. Hopefully she knows more than the phalanx of Doctors and the tube will stay pulled out!

Holy cow, that is awesome news!

Evie is only 4 months old, and she is already calling all the shots. SHE had to decide that she was ready to give up the tube and go for the bottle. No doctor was going to tell HER what to do.

Bless your heart, Marisa. If that girl hasn't given you a few grey hairs already, she will when she's a toddler...and a teenager. :)
