Braylen is getting the signature balding patches on the back of his head as well as those knotty pieces. I think all 4 month olds start looking this way because of the time spent in swings, car seats, etc.
Daddy decided that his hair was getting too long up front and around his ears; he was looking a little goofy.
So Daddy gave him a little trim today.

I almost shed a tear as his baby fine hair fell to the floor. Who knows what color or texture hair will come in next. We have yet to do anything to Evie's hair (quite apparent...) and here Braylen has his first trim at 4 months!

I can't believe Braylen needed a haircut at FOUR MONTHS OLD! Love the new 'do!
For what it's worth, I agree with Jason. Those before pictures make it pretty clear a little trim was needed. :)
