Is it too early to induce labor? I'm ready to have this baby today.
I am definitely not one of those women that love being pregnant. First I had to give up sushi and wine, now I have to say goodbye to my favorite food- carbs.
My appointment with the nutritionist wasn't horrible. I don't have to give up carbs all together- just lessen my portions. But to me, it's the end of the world. I pretty much have to drink only water for the next 3 months. No juice. I even have to limit milk. I drink a lot of water, but all water is a bit much.
Jason and I treated ourselves to a $5 lunch at Costco after my appointment. She said 2 slices of pizza (gave us the size) was fine as my carb portion for lunch. I had one piece of Costco pizza. I tested my glucose all by myself (!) and it read 170. Uh, 140 is the limit. NOOOOOOO!
I proceeded to Costco and Trader Joe's and bought a ton of protein and veggies. I came home starving- what do I want the most? CARBS! Nothing I just bought sounds appetizing. I'd rather starve than make myself a salad or cut up veggies.
There is one piece of good news from today- I can eat as much cheese as I want.
Somehow Jason needs to have our next baby.
