Evie is checked into rehab. She has her backpack with "Evie H." written on it ready to go to all her sessions tomorrow. She has a notebook in it with her schedule, goals, and notes. It's like my 12 week old is going to kindergarten. The staff at KKI welcomed Evie with love. There is also a lot of support and happiness for parents- like free massages on Wednesday, free bagels, a lounge with internet, and FREE parking.
Evie will be evaluated by everyone over the next few days. We will have a big pow-wow on Monday to discuss the plan. Sigh. So it will be at least 1 week there. Hoping for miracles and all of your prayers are answered.
Aunt Jen is here until Tuesday. Grandmom is coming for the weekend. Parker is living in Lancaster. Our neighbor that walks Parker is rallying the neighbors to get meals going. She brought us a bottle of wine tonight :)
I will be with Evie all day then come home to sleep and regroup. I will try to post some pictures and updates of our little student!
The funny thing- the resident at KKI is a doctor we met at St. Agnes a month ago. She remembered us! At least we didn't have to give her what happened during that hospital stay.

We've been thinking of you up here in Maine, and hoping that you find some positives and successes through this experience. I had lost the link to your blog, but your mom send a link to this last post, and I was able to reconnect... Sounds like quite a trying time - stay strong in each other! I'll be down in Philly during the first week in October between bachelorette and wedding weekends for a good friend of mine from summer camp. I am hoping to be able to make a few day trips to see you guys, Nana, and maybe Laura too? Sounds like the staff at KKI will be supportive of you. As a massage therapist, I order you to take advantage of any free massage offered! I was thinking of getting you a gift certificate to somewhere nearby for a little escape - let me know if there is somewhere you like to go, or want to try out...:-)

Glad the doctors at KKI seem more supportive then the ones at JH!! Just remember she is your daughter and you need to do whats best for her and not some doctor!!! Love and prayers everyday.
