Shake It

Yes, we felt the earthquake at KKI today. Pops, Auntie Laura, Cole, Evie, and I were hanging out when the wall behind us started to rattle. Then we felt a larger jolt. We knew instantly it was an earthquake. Evie slept through the whole thing. We were quite shaken. We did not evacuate, but the nurses told us to stay put. Pretty crazy!

I, like millions of other east coasters, instantly got on my cell to check on Jason. He texted me from a stairwell. Naturally I needed to make some phone calls and couldn't. Aunt Jen was en route back to NC and hit major traffic going through VA. I guess everyone just walked out of work, literally :)

Positives for today:

- Evie was pleasant with Chrissy from OT. Evie allowed the bottle in her mouth without fussing.
- After 3 attempts, we finally caught some urine for more testing. No catheter needed
- The nutritionist that rubbed me the wrong way on Monday is NOT our normal one. I met her new one today- MUCH better vibe from her
- I didn't cry today
- Evie gave her Pops some love today. She slept on him for a long nap
- Evie had a great report from PT today. Heather said Evie looked on track to her. She was pleased with her leg movement, the way Evie holds her hands, and her neck strength. We will only see her once or twice a week.
